July 2, 2019 – Club Meeting

Tim Haugh presented the club financials and they were approved by the club.

Jimmy Sheehy revisited a few of the club rules.

  • On Caddo the slot limit is "a 14-18 inch slot".  After verifying with several game wardens this means that a fish may touch 14 but may not go over 14.  For over length, it must at least touch 18".
  • He also clarified the Texas boating law regarding the use of lights.  The law states:  "All vessels including motorboats, sailboats, canoes, kayaks, punts, rowboats, rubber rafts, or other vessels when not at dock must have and exhibit at least one bright light, lantern or flashlight visible all around the horizon from sunset to sunrise in all weather and during restricted visibility."
