November 2014 – Toledo Bend

The Scoop:

Toledo Bend....Great weather, Great Lake, Pretty darn good fishin'

John Michael Brattlof made a BIG statement this weekend. John Michael brought in the Tournament Best stringer at 19.77 on Saturday.......Heavy, Heavy Bag! John Michael also had Big Bass on Day one.

John Brothers posted a 17.06 stringer to take second place (John also had a 15+ stringer on Saturday). Tyler Fisher had a very nice Saturday weight of 14.70 to take third place. Fourth and fifth place were brought in by Lance Eitel at 13.62 and Jeff Fisher at 12.08, respectively.

Day One BIG Bass leaders were John-Michael Brattlof with a 5.59 for first place and John Brothers with a 4.39 to take second place.

Day Two BIG Bass leaders were John Brothers with 6.41 to take first place and Lance Eitel with a 4.16 to take second place.

Other double digit stringers were brought in by Mike Mays, Clint Gordon, Paul Gibbons, and Mike Brattlof.

We had 20 Anglers make this trip to The Bend.

The AOY race tightened up a little bit as well after this event. Son Tyler Fisher inched closer to Dad Jeff Fisher in the overall standings. Jeff has a 4.02lb lead going into our last event on Brandy Branch in December. And Jackie Gordon has a outside chance at staking his claim to the 2014 AOY as well. Should be a Great finish to the year.

The race is heating up and so is the water at Brandy Branch......come on out next month.

Remember your 2015 Dues are due by the end of the year. Please come to the December meeting to vote on a few changes and wrap up the 2014 season.
