The Scoop:
Derby number EIGHT of the 2017 season is in the books.
Current AOY leader Bill Gift takes FIRST Place with a very nice 13.98lb tote.
SECOND Place was taken by Mike Mays with 11.36.
THIRD Place was taken by Paul Spinnerbait Gibbons with 10.84
FOURTH Place was taken by Billy Hughes with 8.60.
BIG BASS - First Place went to Thomas Anderson with 5.42 and Second Place went to Paul Spinnerbait Gibbons at 4.53.
In all, we had 21 anglers brave the summer heat to tackle Lake Hawkins - nice summertime turnout.
Now we're on the downhill grind of the season with FOUR tournaments left: Lake Gilmer, Lake Bob Sandlin, Lake Palestine, and Lake Tyler.......Good Lakes! Best of luck on your finish of the year!
