The Scoop:
It was a cold, blustery day out on the frozen tundra......or something like that!
The temps were in the upper 20's to start and didn't get much over freezing for two days. We had 12 anglers show up and brave the conditions. There were a total of 15 fish brought to the scales.
Mr. Tyler Fisher managed a 3-fish bag that tipped the scales at 12.82 to take the final derby of the 2013 season AND nail down Angler of the Year Honors! Congratualtions Tyler on a great year!
Second place went to Randy Parks with his 3 fish coming in at 10.38 while Clint Gordon rounded up 3rd with 9.78 lbs.
Big Bass honors went to Tyler and his 5.69 fishy!
Coming into this final event we had 3 anglers in position to win Angler of the Year. Jeff Fisher had a solid lead in the standings but could not make this event. So, Jeff's only defense was Bad Weather!!!! He got the tough weather conditions however, Tyler Fisher and Kyle Gregory were in striking distance to take the top honors. It was cold, it was tough..... Kyle struggled and Tyler found a way to land 3 solid keepers and nailing down AOY.
