The Scoop:
Gibbons slams the door shut on Sunday! Cool Temps, Clear Skies, a Little Wind and some Warm Water greeted us on Martin Creek.
On Saturday the lake was a little crowded. Rumor has it that there was 144 boats and the lake capacity is 150...wow! We had 8 of our members brave the crowded conditions on Saturday. Jeff and Tyler Fisher posted a Saturday lead of 12.83 and 11.11 respectively. They ultimately finished 2nd and 3rd.
On Sunday, we had 15 anglers show up (not quite as crowded this day). And it was Mr. Paul Gibbons posting the tournaments best weight at 17.30 to start off the season. Lance Eitel brought in a small limit at 9.68 to wrap up fourth place.
Jeff Fisher took top honors with Big Bass at 5.33 and Paul Gibbons came in a close second with a 5.16 perch!

In all, it was a great start to the new season and I expect we will have a large crowd on Palestine next month.
