Anyone wishing to present rule changes should start thinking about them now, so that they can be presented at the October meeting.  We ask that you present the rule in written form as you wish it to read.  If it is an edit to an existing rule please include that as well.  Randy Parks put in a lot of hard work last year just getting the requested changes in a readable format and we hope to prevent that, and also any confusion that might arise from someone else editing your words.

Jimmy plans to send out an email in the coming month or so and get requests from club members regarding our lakes for next year.  On this email he will be looking for suggestions as to which lakes and also when to fishing them.  The board will take these suggestions under consideration when setting up our schedule for next year.

We need to start thinking about how we will handle the "Club Championship".  We determined that it will be handled differently this year since we no longer have the "Best of the Rest Tournament".

Richard Whomble proposed shortening the hours for the Holbrook tournament this weekend to 6 hours.  This passed with a vote of 12 for and 0 against (there were several "non-voters").

Lake Holbrook tournament  will be this weekend 8/10 and/or 8/11.  We will launch at the usual ramp on the south side of the lake.

Weigh-In Officials are:
Saturday:  Tony Goodman
Sunday:  Bill Gift

Our September tournament will be on Lake Palestine and it was voted to launch from the Villages Marina.
